In 1997, our Quarry in Kilmichael near Macroom was opened and Mid-Cork Quarries (Kilmichael) Limited was born. Soon after, a further dimension to the Group was added in the form of our own Asphalt Manufacturing Plant.
This was followed in 2005 with the opening of a further Asphalt Manufacturing Plant at Banemore, outside Listowel, known as Kerry Tarmacadam Manufacturing Limited. Since 2016 both companies now operate as McSweeney Bros Quarries Ltd.
